NX Client

Light application for remote connection to Unix desktops.

NX Client is the application that carries out the task of connecting to the remote computer on which the NX Server is installed.

X11 refers to the graphic system that is standard to Unix, where X corresponds to X Window System and 11 to the version. This protocol (X11) allows to carry out remote connections with Unix or Linux desktops, making it easier for different computers on a network to interact.

  To be able to establish remote connections based on Unix it is necessary to have each of the parts (client and server) that form part of the NX software installed. The free solution that they offer is a lot more powerful and secure than other applications like VNC, because the connections take place using the SSH (Secure Shell) protocol.

  To sum up, NoMachine NX offers a secure and efficient way to start remote connections and virtualize desktops based on the Unix system, by means of the simple installation of client and server utilities on the chosen computers.
